These tiles imagine an endless border or prison wall, each one connects to another, but in a medium that references the domestic backsplash in a high-end kitchen or bathroom. My work often seeks to intervene in the supposedly non-political space of the home. The Wall Tiles convey the pressure exerted on the domestic sphere by ubiquitous border and prison barriers. These first two tiles are unique prototypes for a forthcoming frieze that will have four iterations.
